Excellent hotel, very friendly staff. However the breakfast service was slow and we only just had time to eat our breakfast as we had to catch a train. The staff were apologetic but we had to rush our food and this meant we didn't enjoy the experience. Next time we will have cereal.
Fabulous place, we come here every year for our anniversary. Have the 3 course menu which is always superb and the service is fantastic. Rooms vary depending on which you book but all finished to a high standard. Breakfast again is of a very high quality. Nice to have a walk round the grounds before you leave. Would never hesitate to recommend.
Absolutely can't fault the dinner service. 2 for 2. Renè has served us two years in a row. Extremely professional and the food is always a delight. The chef/kitchen team has perfected their ability to cater for even the most inconvenient food requirements. No complaints. We have both times had the 3 course evening dinner within the main restaurant itself. Nothing is too much for the staff here and due to the limited number of the tables the experience is calm and settling. Perfect for you to stroll into the library and finish up your evening with a coffee. Wonderful staff, wonderful environment. All round think the staff, the food and the peacefulness of this experience deserves for you to try it even just once (given most people won't like the pricing strategy). It will open up your eyes to quality food and service. Best place if your located in Kidderminster and surrounding areas. They even presented me with a birthday card due to my partner providing them with the details of the occasion it was booked for. Small gesture but big impact.
A restful overnight stay. The staff are really excellent. The grounds were just right for an afternoon walk before sunset. We had a small plates dinner in the bar rather than the full meal in the restaurant. Bar staff were really knowledgeable about cocktails, and the food service was impeccable. Left the following day after a leisurely breakfast, feeling happy and refreshed.
We had a brilliant stay. Lovely relaxed family atmosphere. The staff are absolutely fabulous! All of them helpful and couldn't do enough for us ! This hotel meets a variety of needs and has lovely balance of being homely and professional all at the same time ! We needed an extra night and the staff bent over backwards to meet our needs. I needed extra support for the environment for my elderly mother and the staff found me what I needed immediately!
I have given 5 stars all round. Today my wonderful mum celebrated her 92nd birthday which occasioned our first visit for afternoon tea. The location is stunning. The warmth of the greeting was delightful, the ambience and atmosphere was second to none, and as for the food and drinks... excellent. Especial thanks to Harry for looking after us so professionally and mums birthday card was a lovely touch too. We will be back for Xmas. The Jansen family.
Great hotel. Had 2 night stay. Food and service excellent. Everything you would expect from an Eden group hotel. We have stopped at all the others except Mallory Park, this matched the service of all the others in the group. An extra star for the bar person, a different one each night, but both offered my after dinner brandy in a warmed glass.
Could not fault it. We stayed here with our 2 little dogs and the service is excellent. Very friendly staff and the grounds are stunning. We will return very soon!
